Ex-Alice Cooper-Gitarrist Ryan Roxie, der sich schon seit längerem in Schweden rumtreibt, hat dort eine neue Band namens CASABLANCA gegründet:

Seine Mitstreiter sind dabei Anders Ljung (v, SPACE AGE BABY JANE), Erik Stenemo (g, MELODY CLUB), Mats Rubarth (b) und Josephine Forsman (d, SAHARA HOTNIGHTS).

Die erste Single »Downtown« wurde just veröffentlicht, und beim Debutalbum, das im Laufe des Jahres entstehen soll, wird Chris Laney als Produzent fungieren.
